Transport

I knew I needed some sort of transport other than the plane I had just stepped off, I found an Australian rental company called Apex Car Rentals. As I approached the Apex rental cars, I was greeted by a considerate smile and friendly service. I explained that I needed a mid sized car with enough seats to fit a middle class standard family. I said I would return it in 4 days at Kingsford Smith International Airport.

The lady at the desk listened and soon introduced me to a womo approved Mitsubishi 4WD outlander SUV automatic, the perfect size with enough seats to fit five people and three to  four bags. I admired the soft gleaming coat of orange paint, the spacious interior, compact use of  seating and the luxury accessories of the vehicle, the perfect match for my request. The woman was delightfully friendly, she answered all my questions and clarified that the car took standard petrol. I thanked her very much for her help.

The lady became even more helpful as she introduced me deeper into the car. She described that I could use my New Zealand licence for twelve months and that I was obviously over the age of sixteen. She questioned if I wanted insurance for $38.00 a day which for me in four days would be a total of $152.00. I said yes as an obvious answer and drove away feeling amazed at the friendly service. I knew I was going to use this fast and efficient car for many purposes. I used the car to and from destinations, like from my hotel to my venues and to my restaurants. I treasured the 4WD because from my point of view it was much better than walking, it was a luxury to drive in a car that felt like my own.

With an average of $13.00 NZD a day for standard petrol, I knew I had chosen the perfect economical car. The car did me so many favors in so many different ways. With a total of  $53.16 for four days of petrol, it was surely a car that I would certainly recommend and use again.
