Accommodation

I walked into Hyde Park Inn, 271 Elizabeth Street,a four star hotel in the heart of Sydney. It featured an outdoor pool with a number of wellness facilities such as a free sauna, swimming pool and gymnasium. The 24 hour reception allowed me to wait in their hotel lounge until my room was available. The hotel featured the Italian restaurant “Luigi's” and to start my day off they offered a high quality cooked and continental breakfast.

All 93 air conditioned rooms allowed 24 hour free wifi, broadband and internet access. My room overlooked the astounding views of Hyde Park. I was awestruck by the sight of the Pool Of Reflections glistening in the sun and the captivating scenery of the city lights contrasted by the large deciduous trees of the park.

The hotel included rooms with up to one king sized bed and two single beds for a standard family and having the luxury of a 32-inch LCD TVs including satellite channels and free 24 hour in-house movies was supurb. Bathrooms in each suite gave access to bathrobes, hair dryers and complimentary toiletries and met all my needs of personal hygiene. All guest rooms include minibars and safes and as I found they also featured kitchens and a mini fridge.

With a total of $270.00 per night and all together for four nights was the unbeatable price of $1080 NZ. I would certainly recommend this hotel and it is surely one to remember.
